Through the Valley,  Behind the Mountain Pass...

LANDSCAPES

We know this place as an iconic surf spot since the 50's. Winter after winter surfers braves the waters of the Bay where mountains of 50-60 foot faces come crashing down, sometimes closing out the across the Bay, a pretty horrific thought. From the land, you see a monster of a wave, paddling out and taking the drop but from behind as the wave's sea sprays glisten in the early morning's light, there is a moment of raw beauty...

As I wait for the sets to come, I have to always make sure I'm not close to the pack. If I get too close and a rouge wave comes, I'd probably get smashed to the inside, not fun.
